Multi Hand Three Card Poker
Multi Hand 3 Card Poker is a game that is offered at some online casinos. This game has the exact same rules as a normal game of tri card poker, but you are allowed to play up to five hands depending upon which casino you play at.
This does not mean you have to play more than one hand at a time. You simply have the option to play up to as many hands as the casino allows.
The big advantage of playing multi-handed in three card poker is that there is only one deck being played with; and the more cards that you are able to see, the better feel you can get on the dealer's hand.
This is only an advantage, however, if the dealer does not get a really good hand. If you were to put bets on all five hands and lose them all, your going to be running out of money pretty fast.
Say for instance you are playing five hands. If you see that you
already have several Queens, Kings and Aces, there is a good chance
that the dealer's hand won't qualify (barring a pair or better in
dealer's hand). If you have a strong feeling about the dealer's hand
not qualifying, you may just want to play all of your bets.
In this scenario, make sure that you have something strong to very strong in at least one of your hands. This is in case the dealer has a low pair.
You can definitely use the multiple hands to your advantage, though. You are able to decide which hands to fold and not add the play bet to, and which hands to keep.
If you have several good hands, your going to want to hope the dealer does qualify. Otherwise you're pretty much going to be treading water with the hands that you folded.
Multi Hand 3 Card Poker Odds
For every hand you bet on, you can also place a bet on pair plus. The odds for winning are the same as the one handed version, as are the overall odds of winning any particular hand.
There are way too many variables to playing multiple hands to have a separate list of odds. Maybe someone really good at math can, but I stopped at Trig, so good luck with that.
Your overall strategy is going to be getting a good feeling on what cards are left for the dealer to have. Getting a maximum of 15 cards is going to leave a lot of holes in what you can conceive that the dealer has, but there is a whole lot more to know than when you are playing one hand against the dealer.
Minimizing the bad loses (loses against a high pair or better for example) by not chasing on the loser hands you received and maximizing your winnings when you have a very good feeling are going to be your best bets to winning in Multi Hand Three Card Poker.
